Whats Happening on Lakes Country Radio

 

Northeastern State University, Lakes Country Radio and Tahlequah mourn the loss of 5 NSU Students this past weekend.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported that five freshmen from NSU were killed after their vehicle plunged off a bridge in Cherokee County and then landed in the Barren Fork Creek. Dead are the driver 18 year old Donovan Caldwell of Muskogee, also killed in the crash Jessica Swartwout 18 of McAlester, Drake Wells 19 of Thackerville, Lily Murphy 18 of Gentry Ark and Rhianna Seely 18 of Salina. The accident took place Sunday night.
